Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 252) That is, these incidents of previous nations which We are narrating to you are a clear proof of your being a true Prophet, because you have neither read them in any book nor heard them from anyone, yet you are describing them so accurately that even the Children of Israel confirm them. This is the affirmation of your Prophethood with extremely emphatic words, with {”اِنَّ“} and “Lam of emphasis,” in response to the disbelievers’ denial of your Prophethood. The disbelievers denied your Prophethood, as He said: «وَ يَقُوْلُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا» [ الرعد : ۴۳ ] “And those who disbelieve say, ‘You are not a Messenger.’” Allah Almighty, refuting their denial, said: «وَ اِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ» “Indeed, you are surely among the Messengers.”
