Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at those who believe. But those who obey Allâh’s Orders and keep away from what He has forbidden, will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allâh gives (of His Bounty, Blessings, Favours, Honours on the Day of Resurrection) to whom He wills without limit.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 212) That is, the reason for the disbelievers not believing is that the world appears very adorned in their eyes. The believers, who consider the adornment and beauty of the world as nothing compared to the blessings of the Hereafter, seem naive and insane in the opinion of the disbelievers; therefore, they have made it their pastime to mock and humiliate them. However, on the Day of Resurrection, the people of Taqwa will be superior to them in every respect, because the names of the believers will be in 'Illiyyin and the disbelievers will be in Asfal al-Safilin. Here {”بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ“} is stated, in Surah Naba {”عَطَآءً حِسَابًا“} is stated; for reconciliation, see the footnotes of Surah Naba, Ayah (36).
