Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 67){ اَوَلَايَذْكُرُالْاِنْسَانُاَنَّاخَلَقْنٰهُ … :} So, is it difficult for the Pure Being Who created him when he was nothing, to give him life again after death? This is the strongest proof of resurrection that Allah Almighty has repeatedly stated in the Noble Qur’an. See Surah Dahr (1, 2), Waqi’ah (43 to 62), Rum (27), Hajj (5), Bani Isra’il (51), and Anbiya (104). The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ قَالَاللّٰهُتَعَالٰیكَذَّبَنِيْابْنُآدَمَوَلَمْيَكُنْلَهُذٰلِكَ،وَشَتَمَنِيْوَلَمْيَكُنْلَهُذٰلِكَ،فَأَمَّاتَكْذِيْبُهُإِيَّايَفَقَوْلُهُ : لَنْيُعِيْدَنِيْكَمَابَدأَنِيْ،وَلَيْسَأَوَّلُالْخَلْقِبِأَهْوَنَعَلَيَّمِنْإِعَادَتِهِ،وَأَمَّاشَتْمُهُإِيَّايَفَقَوْلُهُاتَّخَذَاللّٰهُوَلَدًا،وَأَنَاالْأَحَدُالصَّمَدُ،لَمْأَلِدْوَلَمْأُوْلَدْ،وَلَمْيَكُنْلِّيْكُفُوًاأَحَدٌ ][ بخاري، التفسیر، باب تفسیر سورۃ « قل ھو اللّٰہ أحد » : ۴۹۷۴، عن أبي ھریرۃ رضی اللہ عنہ ] “Allah Almighty says: The son of Adam has denied Me, though he has no right to do so, and the son of Adam has abused Me, though he has no right to do so. His denying Me is his saying that I will not recreate him as I created him the first time, though creating him the first time is not easier for Me than recreating him. As for his abusing Me, it is his saying that Allah has taken a child, though I am One, Self-Sufficient, I have not begotten, nor was I begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.”
