سُوْرَةُ مَرْيَمَ
Surah Maryam (19) — Ayah 40
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ ﴿40﴾

Verily We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,

(Ayah 40){اِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ الْاَرْضَ …:} In this, Allah Almighty, expressing His majesty, has mentioned Himself three times using the plural pronoun of the speaker. Even the kings of the world, when giving orders or expressing their grandeur, say, "We command," "We will do this," etc., even though they are giving the order alone. Then why would Allah Almighty, whose majesty has no limit, not say for the expression of His majesty, even though He is alone, that surely We, We alone will be the inheritors of the earth. In the Urdu translation, the word "hee" (indeed/alone) has been placed in place of the third "We," which is in {’’ نَرِثُ ‘‘}. The meaning is that all will perish and, except for Us, there will be no inheritor (one who remains behind) for them.
