Surah Al-Kahf (18) — Ayah 80

وَأَمَّا ٱلْغُلَـٰمُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ فَخَشِينَآ أَن يُرْهِقَهُمَا طُغْيَـٰنًا وَكُفْرًا ﴿80﴾
"And as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared lest he should oppress them by rebellion and disbelief.
وَأَمَّا wa-ammā And as for
ٱلْغُلَـٰمُ l-ghulāmu the boy
فَكَانَ fakāna his parents were
أَبَوَاهُ abawāhu his parents were
مُؤْمِنَيْنِ mu'minayni believers
فَخَشِينَآ fakhashīnā and we feared
أَن an that
يُرْهِقَهُمَا yur'hiqahumā he would overburden them
طُغْيَـٰنًۭا ṭugh'yānan (by) transgression
وَكُفْرًۭا wakuf'ran and disbelief

(Ayah 81,80){ وَ اَمَّا الْغُلٰمُ فَكَانَ اَبَوٰهُ مُؤْمِنَيْنِ … :} From these verses, it is understood how Allah protects His believing servants from upcoming tribulations, just as Allah has said: «{ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ يُدٰفِعُ عَنِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا [ الحج : ۳۸ ] "Indeed, Allah defends those who have believed."
