قَالَ لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِى بِمَا نَسِيتُ وَلَا تُرْهِقْنِى مِنْ أَمْرِى عُسْرًا ﴿73﴾
[Mûsâ (Moses)] said: "Call me not to account for what I forgot, and be not hard upon me for my affair (with you)."
قَالَ qāla He said
لَا (Do) not
تُؤَاخِذْنِى tuākhidh'nī blame me
بِمَا bimā for what
نَسِيتُ nasītu I forgot
وَلَا walā and (do) not
تُرْهِقْنِى tur'hiq'nī be hard (upon) me
مِنْ min in
أَمْرِى amrī my affair
عُسْرًۭا ʿus'ran (raising) difficulty
