Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 89) ➊ {وَ لَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِيْ هٰذَا الْقُرْاٰنِ …:} This may also mean that We have challenged in every way, and also that We have presented every kind of argument for the affirmation of monotheism and the negation of polytheism, or that We have explained every meaning with eloquence and clarity in such an attractive manner that it settles in the mind like an example. The point is that as far as explanation and clarification are concerned, We have left no stone unturned. For further details, see Bani Isra'il (41) and Kahf (54).
{فَاَبٰۤى اَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ اِلَّا كُفُوْرًا :} That is, they are not willing to believe in any way.
