ٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوا۟ لَكَ ٱلْأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّوا۟ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ سَبِيلًا ﴿48﴾

(Ayah 48){ اُنْظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُوْا … :} That is, it is not just one thing that they say about you, rather at different times they say different things. Sometimes they say you are a magician, sometimes they say someone else has cast magic upon you, sometimes they say you are a poet, sometimes a soothsayer, and sometimes they call you mad (insane). Their contradictory statements themselves are proof that they have no knowledge of the truth; in such a state, how can it be hoped that they will find the right path to guidance, or it means that by these statements, they find no way to prevent others from guidance.
