The Night Journey · Meccan · Juz 15 · Page 293

And with truth We have sent it down (i.e. the Qur’ân), and with truth it has descended. And We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) as nothing but a bearer of glad tidings (of Paradise for those who follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism), and a warner (of Hell-fire for those who refuse to follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism).
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ wabil-ḥaqi And with the truth
أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ anzalnāhu We sent it down
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ wabil-ḥaqi and with the truth
نَزَلَ ۗ nazala it descended
وَمَآ wamā And not
أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ arsalnāka We sent you
إِلَّا illā except
مُبَشِّرًۭا mubashiran (as) a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرًۭا wanadhīran and a warner

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 105) ➊ {وَ بِالْحَقِّ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ :} That is, whatever is in it is entirely the truth. {’’ وَ بِالْحَقِّ نَزَلَ ‘‘} And just as We revealed it, so it has been revealed; no one has intervened in between so as to make any addition, omission, or alteration. For details on the protection of divine revelation, see Surah Al-Jinn, verses (26 to 28), and for a similar meaning, Surah Al-An'am, verse (115). After mentioning the miracles of Musa (Moses) عليه السلام, the mention of the Qur'an here is intended to warn the disbelievers of Quraysh that instead of making absurd demands from you ﷺ, why do they not reflect on this Qur'an, which is the greatest proof of your ﷺ prophethood.

{ وَ مَاۤ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ اِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَّ نَذِيْرًا :} That is, We have not sent you with the power to create faith in people's hearts; rather, your task is only to convey the message, give glad tidings to those who accept, and warn those who reject of Hell. See Surah Al-Ghashiyah (21, 22).
