Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 104) ➊ By {وَ قُلْنَا مِنْۢ بَعْدِهٖ لِبَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ اسْكُنُوا الْاَرْضَ : ’’ الْاَرْضَ ‘‘} is meant the land of Sham (Greater Syria), but from Surah Ash-Shu'ara, verse (59), it is known that eventually the rule of Bani Israel, after Palestine and Sham, was also established over Egypt. It is stated: «كَذٰلِكَ وَ اَوْرَثْنٰهَا بَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ » [ الشعراء : ۵۹ ] "Thus it was, and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of (Egypt)." Although all these conquests did not occur during the lifetime of Musa (Moses), peace be upon him. See Surah Al-Ma'idah (20 to 26).
{ فَاِذَا جَآءَ وَعْدُ الْاٰخِرَةِ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيْفًا:’’ لَفِيْفًا ‘‘ ’’لَفُّ الشَّيْءِ بِالشَّيْءِ أَيْ ضَمُّهُ اِلَيْهِ وَ وَصْلُهُ بِهِ ۔‘‘ ’’ جِئْنَا بِكُمْ لَفِيْفًا ‘‘ ’’أَيْ مُجْتَمِعِيْنَ، مُخْتَلِطِيْنَ مِنْ كُلِّ قَبِيْلَةٍ‘‘} (Qamus) means that We will gather all, good and bad, believer and disbeliever, in the field of resurrection, so that their fate may be decided forever.
