[Mûsâ (Moses)] said: "Verily, you know that these signs have been sent down by none but the Lord of the heavens and the earth (as clear evidence i.e. proofs of Allâh’s Oneness and His Omnipotence.). And I think you are, indeed, O Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) doomed to destruction (away from all good)!"
قَالَ qāla He said
لَقَدْ laqad Verily

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 102){ قَالَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَاۤ اَنْزَلَ هٰۤؤُلَآءِ … :} That is, no one has done magic on me, but the fact that you remain stubborn even after seeing these miracles and being certain that they are from Allah, shows that the days of your destruction are near. The meaning of {’’ ثُبُوْرٌ ‘‘} is destruction. See Furqan (14). An ayah with this meaning is Surah Naml, ayah (13).
