Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah99){اِنَّهٗ لَيْسَ لَهٗ سُلْطٰنٌ عَلَى …:} Satan cannot have dominance or control over those with true faith and trust in Allah. Allah Almighty had already stated at the very beginning: «{ اِنَّ عِبَادِيْ لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطٰنٌ اِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغٰوِيْنَ [ الحجر : ۴۲ ] "Indeed, My servants—over them you will have no authority, except those who follow you from among the deviators." However, he does not refrain from trying to mislead them, and sometimes they may be affected, but due to the blessing of fearing Allah, they immediately become aware and escape from his clutches, as He said: «{ اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْا اِذَا مَسَّهُمْ طٰٓىِٕفٌ مِّنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ تَذَكَّرُوْا فَاِذَاهُمْ مُّبْصِرُوْنَ [ الأعراف : ۲۰۱ ] "Indeed, those who fear (Allah), when an evil thought from Satan touches them, they become alert, and at once they are perceptive." And see Surah Al-Hajj (52).
