Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah89){وَ قُلْ اِنِّيْۤ اَنَا النَّذِيْرُ الْمُبِيْنُ :} Here, only warning is mentioned, not glad tidings, because the discussion is about the deniers. { ’’ النَّذِيْرُ الْمُبِيْنُ ‘‘} Regarding the explanation of (an open warner), that hadith narrated by Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is exactly to the point: [ إِنَّمَا مَثَلِيْ وَمَثَلُ مَا بَعَثَنِيَ اللّٰهُ بِهِ كَمَثَلِ رَجُلٍ أَتَي قَوْمًا فَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ ! إِنِّيْ رَأَيْتُ الْجَيْشَ بِعَيْنَيَّ، وَإِنِّيْ أَنَا النَّذِيْرُ الْعُرْيَانُ، فَالنَّجَاءَ، فَأَطَاعَهُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ فَأَدْلَجُوْا فَانْطَلَقُوْا عَلٰي مَهْلِهِمْ فَنَجَوْا، وَ كَذَّبَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْهُمْ فَأَصْبَحُوْا مَكَانَهُمْ، فَصَبَّحَهُمُ الْجَيْشُ فَأَهْلَكَهُمْ وَاجْتَاحَهُمْ، فَذٰلِكَ مَثَلُ مَنْ أَطَاعَنِيْ فَاتَّبَعَ مَا جِئْتُ بِهِ، وَمَثَلُ مَنْ عَصَانِيْ وَكَذَّبَ بِمَا جِئْتُ بِهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ ] [ بخاري، الاعتصام بالکتاب و السنۃ، باب الاقتداء بسنن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم : ۷۲۸۳ ] "My example and the example of what Allah has sent me with is like the example of a man who came to his people and said: 'O my people! I have seen the army with my own eyes, and I am a naked warner (in earlier times, people would take off their clothes and shout to warn of the enemy, so this is a comparison to them), so save yourselves, save yourselves.' A group from his people accepted his word, they set out in the first part of the night and were saved by walking calmly, and another group denied him and stayed in the same place until morning. In the morning, the army attacked them and destroyed and annihilated them. So this is the example of the one who obeyed me and followed what I have brought, and the example of the one who disobeyed me and denied the truth that I have brought."
