Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah8){وَقَالَمُوْسٰۤىاِنْتَكْفُرُوْۤا …:} That is, if you and all the people of the earth and the heavens are ungrateful, then the harm of this ingratitude will reach only you; nothing of Allah Almighty will be harmed, He has no need of your gratitude nor does He care about your ingratitude. His being is worthy of every praise, whether anyone praises Him or not. Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates a Hadith Qudsi that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ يَاعِبَادِيْ! And O My servants! If the first of you and the last of you, the humans among you and the jinn among you, all stand in one field and ask Me, and I give every person what he has asked for, this will not decrease what is with Me in anything, except a needle takes when it is inserted into the sea."
