Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah23) ➊ { جَنّٰتُ عَدْنٍ يَّدْخُلُوْنَهَا۠ …: } is a complete substitute for {’’ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ ‘‘}, meaning that good outcome is the everlasting gardens in which they will enter, and those among their forefathers, wives, and offspring who are worthy of entering Paradise will also enter with them into the Gardens of Eden. Some commentators say that {’’عَدْنٍ‘‘} is a place in Paradise; in that case, the translation would be "Gardens of Eden," and in this case, it would be a partial substitute for {’’ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ ‘‘}. Imam Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding this verse, meaning they and their loved ones will be gathered together in Paradise, whether fathers, household members, or offspring who, due to being believers, are worthy of entering Paradise, so that their eyes may be cooled by being with them, to the extent that the one of lower rank will be raised to the level of the higher rank, without the higher rank being diminished, purely due to Allah’s grace and favor, as He said: «{ وَ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَ اتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِاِيْمَانٍ اَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَ مَاۤ اَلَتْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ عَمَلِهِمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ [ الطور : ۲۱ ] "And those who believed and whose offspring followed them with any degree of faith, We will join their offspring with them, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds."
{وَ الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُ يَدْخُلُوْنَ عَلَيْهِمْ …:} When they enter Paradise, the angels will come to them from every gate, congratulating them and giving them glad tidings.
