Surah Hud (11) — Ayah 95

كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَآ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِّمَدْيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتْ ثَمُودُ ﴿95﴾
As if they had never lived there! So away with Madyan (Midian) as away with Thamûd! (All these nations were destroyed).
كَأَن ka-an As if
لَّمْ lam not
يَغْنَوْا۟ yaghnaw they (had) prospered
فِيهَآ ۗ fīhā therein
أَلَا alā So
بُعْدًۭا buʿ'dan away
لِّمَدْيَنَ limadyana with Madyan
كَمَا kamā as
بَعِدَتْ baʿidat was taken away
ثَمُودُ thamūdu the Thamud
