Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah93){وَ يٰقَوْمِ اعْمَلُوْا عَلٰى مَكَانَتِكُمْ …:} In this verse, the tone is even harsher than the previous verse, because Shu'ayb (peace be upon him), seeing that they value the honor and power of helpless humans over the might and honor of Allah Almighty and have lost hope in their accepting faith, threatens them with Allah's punishment, saying: "Act according to your position, I too will continue the work of invitation on the path shown by my Lord. The result will soon be evident." In these two verses, there is an answer to all the statements of the disbelievers mentioned in the previous verse: that many of your words are beyond our understanding, we see you as weak among us, you are only saved from being stoned because of your tribe, otherwise you have neither honor nor power among us. It is said, very soon all these matters will be decided. Whose strength is greater, who gets stoned, who is truthful and who is a liar—the decision has been made, now only its implementation remains to be seen. So you also wait, I too am waiting along with you.
