سُوْرَةُ هُوْدٍ
Surah Hud (11) — Ayah 48
قِيلَ يَـٰنُوحُ ٱهْبِطْ بِسَلَـٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَبَرَكَـٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَىٰٓ أُمَمٍ مِّمَّن مَّعَكَ ۚ وَأُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿48﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
It was said: "O Nûh (Noah)! Come down (from the ship) with peace from Us and blessings on you and on the people who are with you (and on some of their off-spring), but (there will be other) people to whom We shall grant their pleasures (for a time), but in the end a painful torment will reach them from Us."

(Ayah 48) ➊ { قِيْلَ يٰنُوْحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَ بَرَكٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ:} That is, disembark from the ship onto the land with peace and countless blessings from Us upon yourself and upon those with you.
➋ { وَ عَلٰۤى اُمَمٍ مِّمَّنْ مَّعَكَ:} That is, upon all those believers who will be born from your progeny and the progeny of those with you until the Day of Resurrection. But from those with you, only the sons of Noah (peace be upon him) continued the lineage, as He said: «{ وَ جَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهٗ هُمُ الْبٰقِيْنَ }» [الصافآت : ۷۷ ] “And We made his descendants the only survivors.”
➌ { وَ اُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُمْ …:} Allah the Exalted gave reassurance that after this, all of humanity will not be destroyed, though some groups will perish. (Muwaddih) The groups that will perish refer to all those disbelievers who were born from the descendants of Noah (peace be upon him) or will be born until the Day of Resurrection.
➋ { وَ عَلٰۤى اُمَمٍ مِّمَّنْ مَّعَكَ:} That is, upon all those believers who will be born from your progeny and the progeny of those with you until the Day of Resurrection.
