They denied him, but We delivered him, and those with him in the ship, and We made them generations replacing one after another, while We drowned those who belied Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). Then see what was the end of those who were warned.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 73) ➊ { فَكَذَّبُوْهُ فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَ مَنْ مَّعَهٗ فِي الْفُلْكِ :} See its details in Surah Hud (36 to 49).
{ وَ جَعَلْنٰهُمْ خَلٰٓىِٕفَ:} That is, after them, only those remained inhabiting the world. See Surah As-Saffat (77). That is why Noah (peace be upon him) is called the second Adam.
{فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِيْنَ:} Here, {’’ فَانْظُرْ ‘‘} means to ponder and take a lesson as to how they were destroyed and ruined. In this, there is comfort for you (Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him), the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them), and the believers, and a lesson for those who even today deny you (peace be upon him).
