To Him is the return of all of you. The Promise of Allâh is true. It is He Who begins the creation and then will repeat it, that He may reward with justice those who believed (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) and did deeds of righteousness. But those who disbelieved will have a drink of boiling fluids and painful torment because they used to disbelieve.

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 4){اِلَيْهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ جَمِيْعًا …:} In this, there is mention of the Day of Judgment, that is, the resurrection of all people and their presentation before Allah. This is Allah’s firm and true promise because in this world, the reward and punishment of the righteous and the wicked is neither necessary nor possible, nor is the required opportunity available here for it. Therefore, Allah, in every case, fulfilling His true promise, will resurrect you and give the believers their reward with justice and will give the disbelievers the recompense for their disbelief. If anyone considers this impossible, then let him reflect that the One who creates you in the first place, that is, brings you into existence from non-existence, is it difficult for Him to give you life again after your death?
