Surah Al-Bayyina (98) — Ayah 7

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ ﴿7﴾
Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allâh, and in His Messenger Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) including all obligations ordered by Islâm] and do righteous good deeds, they are the best of creatures.
إِنَّ inna Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna those who
ءَامَنُوا۟ āmanū believe
وَعَمِلُوا۟ waʿamilū and do
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ l-ṣāliḥāti righteous deeds
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ulāika those
هُمْ hum they
خَيْرُ khayru (are the) best
ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ l-bariyati (of) the creatures

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 7. 1. That is, those who believed with their hearts and acted with their limbs, they are better and superior to all creation. The scholars who hold the view that believing servants are superior in honor and virtue to the angels. One of their proofs is also this verse. البریۃ is from یرأ (to create). From this comes Allah's attribute الباری. Therefore, بریّہ is originally بریئۃ; the hamzah was changed to ya and then the ya was assimilated into the ya.
