وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ ﴿2﴾
By the night when it darkens (and stand still).
وَٱلَّيْلِ wa-al-layli And the night
إِذَا idhā when
سَجَىٰ sajā it covers with darkness
