يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى ﴿24﴾
He will say: "Alas! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my life!"
يَقُولُ yaqūlu He will say
يَـٰلَيْتَنِى yālaytanī O I wish
قَدَّمْتُ qaddamtu I had sent forth
لِحَيَاتِى liḥayātī for my life
