عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ ﴿3﴾
Labouring (hard in the worldly life by worshipping others besides Allâh), weary (in the Hereafter with humility and disgrace).
عَامِلَةٌۭ ʿāmilatun Laboring
نَّاصِبَةٌۭ nāṣibatun exhausted

3. 1. That is, they will have such a severe and strenuous punishment that their condition will become extremely bad because of it. The second meaning is that they will be exhausted from their deeds in the world, meaning they kept performing many deeds, but those deeds were based on innovations according to a false religion, so despite worship and strenuous acts, they will enter Hell. Accordingly, in the spirit of this meaning, Ibn Abbas has taken (عَمِلَۃ، نَّاصِیَۃ) to refer to the Christians (Sahih Bukhari).
