يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ ﴿9﴾
The Day when all the secrets (deeds, prayers, fasting, etc.) will be examined (as to their truth).
يَوْمَ yawma (The) Day
تُبْلَى tub'lā will be tested

9. 1. That is, they will become manifest because there will be reward and punishment for them. In fact, it is mentioned in the hadith that for every betrayer (one who breaks a covenant), a flag will be planted near his buttocks and it will be announced that this is the betrayal of so-and-so, son of so-and-so.
