وَمَآ أُرْسِلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمْ حَـٰفِظِينَ ﴿33﴾
But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers).

33. 1. That is, these disbelievers have not been appointed as overseers over the Muslims so that they are constantly observing the actions and conditions of the Muslims and commenting on them.
