"This is because of that which your hands had forwarded. And verily, Allâh is not unjust to His slaves."

ذَٰلِكَdhālikaThat
بِمَاbimā(is) for what
قَدَّمَتْqaddamatsent forth
أَيْدِيكُمْaydīkumyour hands
وَأَنَّwa-annaAnd indeed
ٱللَّهَl-lahaAllah
لَيْسَlaysa(is) not
بِظَلَّـٰمٍۢbiẓallāminunjust
لِّلْعَبِيدِlil'ʿabīdito His slaves

51. 1. This punishment and torment is the result of your own deeds; otherwise, Allah Almighty does not wrong His servants, rather He is Just and free from every kind of oppression and injustice. It is also mentioned in the Hadith Qudsi: Allah Almighty says, O My servants! I have made oppression unlawful for Myself and I have made it unlawful among you as well, so do not oppress one another. O My servants! These are your own deeds which I have kept accounted for; so whoever finds good in his deeds, let him praise Allah, and whoever finds otherwise, let him blame only himself (Sahih Muslim).
