وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا ﴿3﴾
And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain.
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ wal-nāshirāti And the ones that scatter
نَشْرًۭا nashran far and wide

3. 1. By those angels, who disperse the clouds or spread their wings in the heavenly atmosphere. However, Imam Ibn Kathir and Imam Tabari have taken all three to mean winds and have declared this to be Sahih, as has also been adopted in the translation.
