They (are those who) fulfil (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading.

7. 1. That is, they worship and obey only Allah, and if they make vows, they do so only for Him and then fulfill them. Fearing that Day, they do not commit prohibitions and sins. The spreading of evil means that on that Day, only the one whom Allah covers with His forgiveness and mercy will be saved from His grasp. All others will be caught in its evil.
