سُوْرَةُ الدَّهْرِ
Surah Al-Insaan (76) — Ayah 3
إِنَّا هَدَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلسَّبِيلَ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا ﴿3﴾

Verily, We showed him the way, whether he be grateful or ungrateful.

That is, in addition to the aforementioned abilities and faculties, We Ourselves have also clarified and explained the right path through the Prophets عليه السلام, Our Books, and the callers to truth. Now it is up to him whether he chooses the path of obedience to Allah and becomes a grateful servant, or chooses the path of disobedience and becomes ungrateful to Him.
