Surah Al-Insaan (76) — Ayah 23
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ تَنزِيلًا ﴿23﴾

Verily, it is We Who have sent down the Qur’ân to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) by stages.

23. 1. That is, instead of being revealed all at once, it was revealed at different times as needed. Its second meaning could also be that We have revealed this Qur'an; it is not something you have fabricated yourself, as the polytheists claim.
