19. 1. That is, the explanation of its difficult passages and the clarification of what is lawful and unlawful is also our responsibility. Its clear meaning is that the clarification of the generalities of the Quran which the Prophet ﷺ has explained, and the specifications he has stated, which are called Hadith, these too are matters inspired and explained by Allah Himself. Therefore, it is necessary to accept them just as the Quran.
