Surah Al-Muddaththir (74) — Ayah 48

فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمْ شَفَـٰعَةُ ٱلشَّـٰفِعِينَ ﴿48﴾
So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them.
فَمَا famā Then not
تَنفَعُهُمْ tanfaʿuhum will benefit them
شَفَـٰعَةُ shafāʿatu intercession
ٱلشَّـٰفِعِينَ l-shāfiʿīna (of) the intercessors

48. 1. That is, whoever possesses the aforementioned attributes, no intercession will benefit him, because due to disbelief, there will be no place for intercession at all. Intercession will only be beneficial for those who, due to faith, will be worthy of intercession.
