Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

5. 1. Since standing in prayer at night is generally burdensome for the human soul, this sentence was especially stated: We will soon send down to you a word of even greater weight, that is, the Qur'an, whose commands and obligations, adherence to its limits, and its propagation and invitation, is an act of great self-sacrifice. Some have interpreted "weight" as the burden that would descend upon the Prophet ﷺ at the time of revelation, due to which, even in severe cold, he would be drenched in sweat.
