Surah Al-Jinn (72) — Ayah 27

إِلَّا مَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ مِن رَّسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَسْلُكُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ رَصَدًا ﴿27﴾
Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him.
إِلَّا illā Except

ٱرْتَضَىٰ ir'taḍā He has approved
مِن min of
رَّسُولٍۢ rasūlin a Messenger
فَإِنَّهُۥ fa-innahu and indeed, He
يَسْلُكُ yasluku makes to march

يَدَيْهِ yadayhi him
وَمِنْ wamin and from
خَلْفِهِۦ khalfihi behind him
رَصَدًۭا raṣadan a guard

27. 1. That is, at the time of the revelation of wahi, there are angels in front of and behind the Prophet, and they do not allow the devils and jinn to listen to the matters of wahi.
