Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

24. 1. Or it means that these people will persist in their enmity towards the Prophet ﷺ and the believers and will remain obstinate in their disbelief, until they see the punishment that has been promised to them, either in this world or in the Hereafter.

24. 2. That is, at that time they will realize whether the helper of the believers is weak or the helper of the polytheists. Whether the people of Tawheed are fewer in number or the worshippers of others besides Allah. The meaning is that then the polytheists will have no helper at all, and in comparison to the countless armies of Allah, the number of these polytheists will be like salt in flour.
