Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
2. 1. This is the second attribute of the Qur'an: that it clarifies the straight path, that is, the truth, or grants the recognition of Allah. That is, we affirmed after hearing that indeed this is the word of Allah, not of any human. In this, there is a rebuke and warning to the disbelievers that the jinn believed in the Qur'an after hearing it just once, but humans, especially their leaders, did not benefit from it, even though they heard the Qur'an multiple times from the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ. We will not associate anyone with Him, neither from the creation nor any other deity, because He is unique in His Lordship.
