Surah Al-A'raaf (7) — Ayah 30

فَرِيقًا هَدَىٰ وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةُ ۗ إِنَّهُمُ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ ﴿30﴾
A group He has guided, and a group deserved to be in error; (because) surely they took the Shayâtîn (devils) as Auliyâ’ (protectors and helpers) instead of Allâh, and think that they are guided.
فَرِيقًا farīqan A group
هَدَىٰ hadā He guided
وَفَرِيقًا wafarīqan and a group
حَقَّ ḥaqqa deserved
عَلَيْهِمُ ʿalayhimu [on] they
ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةُ ۗ l-ḍalālatu the astraying
إِنَّهُمُ innahumu Indeed, they
ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ittakhadhū take
ٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ l-shayāṭīna the devils
أَوْلِيَآءَ awliyāa (as) allies
مِن min from
دُونِ dūni besides
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi Allah
وَيَحْسَبُونَ wayaḥsabūna while they think
أَنَّهُم annahum that they
مُّهْتَدُونَ muh'tadūna (are the) guided-ones
