وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَكُمْ وَلَآ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ ﴿197﴾
And those whom you call upon besides Him (Allâh) cannot help you nor can they help themselves.
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna And those whom
تَدْعُونَ tadʿūna you invoke
مِن min from
دُونِهِۦ dūnihi besides Him
لَا not
يَسْتَطِيعُونَ yastaṭīʿūna they are able
نَصْرَكُمْ naṣrakum (to) help you

أَنفُسَهُمْ anfusahum themselves
