Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

17. 1. The meaning is that I will sit on every path of good and evil. I will prevent from good and make evil appear desirable in their eyes and encourage them to choose it.

17. 2. The second meaning of "shakireen" is "muwahideen" (those who believe in the oneness of Allah). That is, I will cause most people to fall into shirk. Satan actually made his assumption come true, 34. Saba:20) Satan made his assumption come true, and except for a group of believers, everyone followed him. That is why in hadith there is great emphasis on seeking refuge from Satan, and in the Quran, on being cautious of his plotting and deception.
