وَٱلَّذِينَ عَمِلُوا۟ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ثُمَّ تَابُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا وَءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهَا لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ﴿153﴾
But those who committed evil deeds and then repented afterwards and believed, verily, your Lord after (all) that is indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
وَٱلَّذِينَ wa-alladhīna And those who
عَمِلُوا۟ ʿamilū do
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ l-sayiāti the evil deeds
ثُمَّ thumma then
تَابُوا۟ tābū repented
مِنۢ min from
بَعْدِهَا baʿdihā after that
وَءَامَنُوٓا۟ waāmanū and believed
إِنَّ inna indeed
رَبَّكَ rabbaka your Lord
مِنۢ min from
بَعْدِهَا baʿdihā after that
لَغَفُورٌۭ laghafūrun (is) surely Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ raḥīmun Most Merciful

153. 1. For those who have repented, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. It is understood that every sin is forgiven through repentance, provided that the repentance is sincere.
