وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ ﴿6﴾
And as for ‘Âd, they were destroyed by a furious violent wind!
وَأَمَّا wa-ammā And as for
عَادٌۭ ʿādun Aad
فَأُهْلِكُوا۟ fa-uh'likū they were destroyed
بِرِيحٍۢ birīḥin by a wind
صَرْصَرٍ ṣarṣarin screaming
عَاتِيَةٍۢ ʿātiyatin violent
