Surah Al-Haaqqa (69) — Ayah 25

وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِشِمَالِهِۦ فَيَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى لَمْ أُوتَ كِتَـٰبِيَهْ ﴿25﴾
But as for him who will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "I wish that I had not been given my Record!
وَأَمَّا wa-ammā But as for
مَنْ man (him) who
أُوتِىَ ūtiya is given
كِتَـٰبَهُۥ kitābahu his record
بِشِمَالِهِۦ bishimālihi in his left hand
فَيَقُولُ fayaqūlu will say
يَـٰلَيْتَنِى yālaytanī O! I wish
لَمْ lam not
أُوتَ ūta I had been given
كِتَـٰبِيَهْ kitābiyah my record
