لِنَجْعَلَهَا لَكُمْ تَذْكِرَةً وَتَعِيَهَآ أُذُنٌ وَٰعِيَةٌ ﴿12﴾
That We might make it (Noah’s ship) an admonition for you and that it might be retained by the retaining ears.
لِنَجْعَلَهَا linajʿalahā That We might make it
لَكُمْ lakum for you
تَذْكِرَةًۭ tadhkiratan a reminder
وَتَعِيَهَآ wataʿiyahā and would be conscious of it
أُذُنٌۭ udhunun an ear
وَٰعِيَةٌۭ wāʿiyatun conscious

That is, this action that the disbelievers were drowned in the water and the believers were saved by being boarded on the ark, was made a lesson and admonition for you so that you may take heed from it and refrain from disobeying Allah. That is, the listeners should hear it and remember it, and they too should take a lesson from it.
