فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَٱلصَّرِيمِ ﴿20﴾
So the (garden) became black by the morning, like a pitch dark night (in complete ruins).
فَأَصْبَحَتْ fa-aṣbaḥat So it became
كَٱلصَّرِيمِ kal-ṣarīmi as if reaped
