Surah At-Taghaabun (64) — Ayah 5

أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿5﴾
Has not the news reached you of those who disbelieved aforetime? And so they tasted the evil result of their disbelief, and theirs will be a painful torment.
أَلَمْ alam Has not
يَأْتِكُمْ yatikum come to you
نَبَؤُا۟ naba-u (the) news
ٱلَّذِينَ alladhīna (of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟ kafarū disbelieved
مِن min from
قَبْلُ qablu before
فَذَاقُوا۟ fadhāqū So they tasted
وَبَالَ wabāla (the bad) consequence
أَمْرِهِمْ amrihim (of) their affair
وَلَهُمْ walahum and for them
عَذَابٌ ʿadhābun (is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ alīmun painful
