Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

15. 1. Those who incite you towards earning the unlawful and prevent you from fulfilling the rights of Allah, so you can only succeed in this trial when you do not obey them in disobedience to Allah. The meaning is that while wealth and children are blessings of Allah, they are also a means of testing a person. In this way, Allah sees who is obedient to Him and who is disobedient.

15. 2. That is, for the person who prefers obedience to Allah over the love of wealth and children and avoids His disobedience.
