Surah Al-Jumu'a (62) — Ayah 10

فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴿10﴾
Then when the (Jumu‘ah) Salât (prayer) is ended, you may disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allâh (by working, etc.), and remember Allâh much: that you may be successful.
فَإِذَا fa-idhā Then when
قُضِيَتِ quḍiyati is concluded
ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ l-ṣalatu the prayer
فَٱنتَشِرُوا۟ fa-intashirū then disperse
فِى in
ٱلْأَرْضِ l-arḍi the land
وَٱبْتَغُوا۟ wa-ib'taghū and seek
مِن min from
فَضْلِ faḍli (the) Bounty
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (of) Allah
وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ wa-udh'kurū and remember
ٱللَّهَ l-laha Allah
كَثِيرًۭا kathīran much
لَّعَلَّكُمْ laʿallakum so that you may
تُفْلِحُونَ tuf'liḥūna succeed

10. 1. This refers to business and trade. That is, after finishing the Friday prayer, you may engage in your respective businesses and worldly occupations. The purpose is to clarify that there is no need to keep businesses closed on the day of Friday. It is only necessary to do so at the time of prayer.
