Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

97. 1. Here, one benefit and purpose of the stars has been mentioned; there are two other purposes which have been stated at another place: the adornment of the heavens and the pelting of devils. رجو ما للشیطین. That is, when devils try to ascend to the sky, these fall upon them as flames. Some scholars have said: من اعتقد فی ہذاہ النجوم غیر ثلاث فقد اخطاء وکذب علی اللہ Whoever holds any belief about these stars other than these three matters is mistaken and has lied against Allah. From this, it is understood that the practice of astrology in our country, in which claims are made about the effects of stars on future events, human life, or the universe, is baseless and also against the Shariah. In fact, in a hadith, it has been described as a branch of magic: من اقتبس علماء من النجوم اقتبس شعبۃ من السحر زاد ما زاد (Hasan by Al-Albani, Sahih Abi Dawood)
