سُوْرَةُ الْاَنْعَامِ
Surah Al-An'aam (6) — Ayah 49
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ ﴿49﴾
Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
But those who reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), the torment will touch them for their disbelief (and for their belying the Message of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم). [Tafsir Al-Qurtubî].

49. 1. That is, punishment will be inflicted because they chose the path of disbelief and denying the truth, did not care for Allah's obedience and His commands, and violated His sanctities.
